The Prakatya Utsav of Mother Pitambara will be celebrated in Datia on Wednesday which will be celebrated as Datia's pride day. It will be organised in a grand manner in the home town of Home Minister Narottam Mishra. From this year, a new ritual is going to start in Datia like the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath in Puri in the state of Odisha, in Datia, Rath Yatra of Maa Pitambara will be taken out.
Mishra said that taking out the Shobha Yatra is a different matter. The tradition is starting in Datia from May 4. Thiswill continue, whether we are alive or not, it remains a tradition.
Mishra said that this tradition is going to be started by the devotees of Mai and the disciples of Swami. In this a large number of devotees of Mai from all over the country are participating.
Home Minister Mishra said that the entire Datia is eager to welcome the devotees. Free food and lodging in all hotels and lodges in Datia have been arranged by devotes from the area for those devotees attending the ceremony.
