Vice-Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Prof Brij Kishore Kuthiala has been conferred honorary degree Dlitt (Honoris Causa).
Governor of Haryana Prof Kaptan Singh Solanki conferred the honorary degree upon Prof Kuthiala in the 16th convocation of Maharshi Dayanand Vishwavidyalaya, Rohtak.
In convocation address, Prof Kuthiala said that his responsibility has enhanced after this honorary degree. He said that positive change can be brought to the society through higher education. Prof Kuthiala is known in education circle for promotion of research and innovation in it. He is also known for introducing communication, advertising, marketing, engineering and technology related educational courses in different universities of the country. Prof Kuthiala is working in the fields of communication, mass communication, media technology education and research from last four decades. He introduced different courses related with communication, mass communication, media technology and printing technology in Kurukshetra Vishwavidyalaya, Haryana and Guru Jambheshwar Vishwavidyalaya, Hisar.
