State Election Commissioner Basant Pratap Singh has said that District Public Relations Officers should play a pro-active role in voter’s awareness campaign.
He has said that it is necessary to reach the information about the election program and all the important processes and activities to the candidates, public representatives and the general public.
The State Election Commissioner has said that the District Public Relations Officer, after getting information about various election related activities and innovations from the Collector and Deputy District Election Officer, should do wide publicity through print and electronic media. This will motivate voters to vote.
Secretary State Election Commission Shri Rakesh Singh has informed that Collector and District Election Officers have been instructed to organize various activities at district level in Voter’s Awareness Campaign (SENSE).
