Players should maintain their winning streak by continuing their practice and deliver better results for the State at different levels of competitions making the State proud, said Director General of Police (DGP) Nanden Dubey while presenting prizes to the winners of the 15th Madhya Pradesh police state level shooting competition here on Friday.
DGP Dubey congratulated the winners of the competition. Special Armed Forces Bhopal won the overall championship while SAF Jabalpur claimed the runner up place. On the occasion 90 Assistant Platoon Commanders who were promoted to Platoon Commander Rank were also provided with stars by the DGP.
The programme started with the welcome by Additional Director of General (SAF) Shailendra Shrivastava. Inspector General (SAF) AK Singh provided the details of the 15th Madhya Pradesh police state level shooting competition held in thestate capital.
After the prize distribution Statistical Book -2014 was released on the occasion.
The book comprises of details provided by planning section till April 1, 2014 regarding. Data of approved police force, number of police stations, crimes, area, population related information is provided.
Information of infrastructure, housing and vehicles with the help of statistical charts, graphs and maps is present in the Statistical Book -2014. Every year the Statistical Book providing details of police department is published and Statistical Book -2014 is the 36th edition
published.
On the occasion OSD Surendra Singh, Addl DG of all sections and senior police officers were present. Several senior players were also present at the occasion.
