Important instructions were given by Principal Secretary AP Singh regarding arrangements for Budget Session starting from February 22, at a review meeting on Wednesday.
Singh instructed officials of the Secretariat and Central Project Administration (CPA) for the Budget session.
Among the important instructions to sanitize the entire building including the assembly hall and to arrange for the corona test of the members to prevent Covid-19 infection were given.
In the prevailing pandemic situation Covid-19, there will be a ban on entry of ordinary citizens in the visitors gallery during the session. Entry of personal assistant and security personnel etc. of members will be banned in the Legislative Assembly.
From the personal staff of ministers, only one person will be given admission and he will be ensured to follow the instructions.
There will also be a system of video conferencing for the members to be involved in the proceedings of the Legislative Assembly.
Sanitizer and mask have been provided for the members. While entering the premises for the members, officers, a medical team will be present for the health test near the Sanchi gate.
Similarly, this arrangement has been kept at the gate of the assembly for officers and employees.
In this meeting, officers of the Legislative Branch, NIC and other branches related to Health Department, Capital Project Administration, Security and House were present.
