President of AIIMS, Bhopal Prof (Dr) YK Gupta visited the institute for two daysfor routine visit and inspection. During this period he inspected various departments of the Institute and gave necessary suggestions and guidance to strengthen and improve the facilities and arrangements available.
During the visit, he appreciated the efforts put in by AIIMS management in streamlining the procurement processes and observed that availability of medicines and consumables was much better as compared to his previous visit. Due these initiatives, he observed that there is considerable improvement in patient care facilities at AIIMS Bhopal.
On June 06, the president visited Trauma and Emergency, Red Triage, ICU Ward, Private Ward, Pharmacy departments in the hospital premises. Later, a detailed discussion was held about Administration and Hospital related matters with various officers.
On Tuesday, in a meeting, discussion was held with the Prof (Dr.) Nitin M Nagarkar, Director, AIIMS, Bhopal and the Academic meeting was held with faculty members. Besides, review and discussion held on various activities of departments in order to make patient care services at AIIMS Bhopal.
