Premchand Gupta returned to Bhopal on June 25. While still under the shock of devastating tragedy he had witnessed, on Monday afternoon he received yet another shock.
A speed-post addressed to him arrived at his home and when he opened it he found that it contained documents including PAN card, driving license and other papers that were lost with his wallet in Uttarakhand. There was also a letter written by one Amar Singh Rawat, resident of Dankot village in Rudraprayag district. In the letter, Rawat had written that he had also found nearly Rs 4000 in the wallet and he asked for Gupta’s bank account number to deposit the money. When Gupta called him on the given mobile number requesting that he should keep the money, he declined. The money was deposited in Gupta’s account on Tuesday.
