The police have successfully solved married and pregnant woman’s murder case in which the woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence on Tuesday. Her husband turned out as killer and police have arrested him.
Regarding reason behind the murder, police officials said the killer was unemployed and facing comments by his wife. Victim Priyanka Singh (31) was found unconscious in her house and the neighbours rushed her to Hamidia hospital on Wednesday morning. Surprisingly, to mislead the police and the neighbours, victim’s husband Ranveer Singh had claimed that all of a sudden Priyanka became sick and got unconscious.
When the victim was rushed to Hamidia hospital, she was declared dead. later, Ranveer Singh demanded the body for the last rituals, stating that he did not want the post-mortem, but the police did not allow him and handed over the body to hospital authorities for the autopsy, which revealed the facts.
The suspicion remained till the post mortem report was received by the police. In the report, it was revealed that the victim was strangulated to death and when Ranveer was questioned, he confessed to have killed his wife. Ranveer told that he got married to Priyanka around 10 years ago. All things were well until he lost his job as an engineer at Crompton Greaves (Delhi), where was he was paid a handsome salary. later, things changed and frequent fights continued between him and his wife. They shifted to Bhopal and started living at Housing Board Colony at Bagh Sewania.
On Tuesday night the couple had a fight and in the wee hours Ranveer strangulated the victim to death and returned back to sleep. In the morning he pretended that nothing has happened and informed others about his wife. They took her to Hamidia after which the hospital staff informed the police. On Wednesday the police have registered a case under section 302 of the IPC. The couple have an 8-year-old girl and 4-year-old boy.
