Now, the sidelined leader has found support from party MP Sadhvi Pragya Thakur.
The BJP MP came out in support of Nupur Sharma and said that she stands solidly behind her, even if it means doing rebellion against the party. Sadhvi took to Twitter to extend support to Nupur Sharma and tweeted, “If telling the truth is rebellion, then I am also a rebel.”
Nupur Sharma & Naveen Jindal were suspended & expelled from the party after their alleged derogatory remarks left the community enraged.
The BJP MP further asserted that India belongs to Hindus and Sanatan Dharma will stay here. She also slammed the non-believers and said that those issuing death threats must be exposed.
“These non-believers have always done so. Like Kamlesh Tiwari said something he was killed. Someone else (Nupur Sharma) said something and they also received a death threat. They distort our gods and goddess and make films about them. They have been doing this for years… That shows their mentality”, said Sadhvi on death threats to Nupur Sharma.
