Public Relations, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Rajendra Shukla has expressed profound grief over the death of freedom fighter and senior journalist Jawaharlal Rathore.
Rathore, 85, died after prolonged illness at an Indore hospital today.
In his condolence message, Shukla said that late Rathore also participated in freedom movement. He was associated with journalism for a long time.
He also rendered his services to many major daily newspapers.
Describing Rathore's death as irreparable, Shukla said that his contribution can never be forgotten. Shukla has prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this shock.
