Polling in eight wards of lanji Nagar Parishad in Balaghat district has been postponed due to error in allotment of election symbols to candidates. Now, polling will be held on August 20 from 7 am to 5. Earlier, polling was to be held on August 12.
Secretary State Election Commission GP Shrivastava has informed that process to file and withdraw nominations in lanji Nagar Parishad will remain the same as per amended schedule.
list of candidates in fray and allotment of symbols will be made from 11 am on August 8.
Polling will be held on August 10 and counting as well as declaration of results on August 23.
