Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan while addressing the joint meeting of chairpersons of 51 municipalities and city councils said that the politics is gathering public and to connect with the public.
Chouhan said, “We connect people through our conduct in public life, therefore our conduct should be better. How positivity among people and voters be depends on the conduct of the public representative, if we are alert and aware than we would add people through our conduct every day.”
Chouhan further said that chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is completing eleven years in office on November 29. On this occasion ‘Hitgrahi Sammelan’ (beneficiary conventions) would be held across the State. These conventions would be held in all civic bodies at ward level. Our aim is that the beneficiaries of party’s public welfare schemes should reach in these conventions and they should know party’s policies and ideology, he added.
He said that the Shivraj Singh Chouhan led BJP Government is providing budget of more than 100 times that Congress regimes used to give to civic bodies. Civic bodies department is directly associated with the people hence our motto should be that how we could bring positivity in the society besides increasing the mass base of the party through it, he added.
He said that the BJP Government of the State has fulfilled the basic needs of people including electricity, water and roads besides urban and rural people are getting benefitted withpublic welfare schemes of the BJP Government.
The State Government have done ample work in every sector and the Chief Minister and the Government are committed for the development of civic bodies, he added.
