The Govindpura police have booked a policeman for sexually exploiting a 31-year- old woman for the past one year at Govindpura area; accused policeman is yet to be questioned.
Police said that the accused, identified as Sandeep Soni, was booked after the victim lodged a complaint against the accused of sexual assault and exploitation for the past one year in the marrying her.
The victim, in her complaint, stated that she used to work with a private firm and accepted friend request over facebook. The two developed relationship and later victim was sexually assaulted and exploited by the accused.
The victim used to live in a rented room where the accused used to sexually exploit her. The victim in her complaint stated that accused marriage with her at Arya Samaj Mandir but police have not found any document regarding the same.
The accused continued to sexually exploit her and later the victim lodged a complaint with the police. Based on the complaint police registered a case and nabbed the accused. The police registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and nabbed the accused.
Police have also recovered mobile phone which the accused used to threaten the victim.
