In connection with the fake recruitment in State Assembly, the district police on Monday submitted a challan in the district court.
The 2200-page challan has been submitted against 16 persons including former Speaker Shrinivas Tiwari in the court of special judge Kashinath Singh.
As per rules, those who were granted anticipatory bail remained preset in the court for regular bail. Tiwari also reached the court on wheel-chair and received regular bail from the court.
Notably, Tiwari's bail plea was rejected by session’s court and high court after which he approached Supreme Court. The Apex court had granted Tiwari anticipatory bail.
In compliance of the anticipatory bail, the Bhopal police had arrested Tiwari in Rewa and granted bail.
