Two mysterious deaths have been reported in Bhopal, both under suspicious circumstances, with investigations underway but no clear answers so far.
In Lambakheda, Aarti Kushwaha, a 24-year-old woman originally from Vidisha, was found dead in her rented room. Aarti had been living alone after separating from her husband a year after their marriage.
On Wednesday, when colleagues repeatedly tried to contact her without success, her family was alerted. Her brother-in-law arrived at her room and, after failing to get a response, forced entry to find Aarti unconscious on the floor. Police suspect she may have taken poison, as a suspicious substance was found in the room. However, her family has not provided a definite reason for her death, and the case is being treated as suspicious.
In a similar manner mysterious death was in Awadhpuri last year in the month of October, where Neha Vijayvargiya, a woman manager at a general insurance company, was found dead under unexplained circumstances in her rented apartment. Neha, who had been living independently for several years after divorcing her husband, was last in contact with her family on the evening of October 22.
