Berasia police have nabbed a man and his parents on the charge of his 20-year-old wife’s for abetment of suicide. The woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling on May 17 at Mansapur village.
Police said that the husband of Pista Bai and her in-laws were nabbed after it surfaced in the investigation that the deceased Pista Bai was harassed by her husband and in- laws.
Police have nabbed Pista Bai’s husband Kaluram and her in-laws Raja Bai, Maharaj Singh and Jamuna Bai. On May 17 Pista Bai committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling and declared dead when taken to a nearby hospital.
The deceased got married to Kaluram around a year ago but the relationship from the beginning was bitter as they used to fight frequently and family members of Kaluram used to harass the deceased.
