The TT Nagar police have booked a man for sexually assaulting a 16-year-old minor girl at Pampa Nagar; accused faced atrocities from her brother-in-law who sexually assaulted victim for the past five years.
Police have booked victim’s brother in law for sexually assaulting the victim for five years, victim faced atrocity when she used to live with her sister after death of her parents in the year 2013.
A case was registered after complaint was lodged by the victim with the TT Nagar police stating that the victim was sexually harassed and faced heinous atrocities as the victim would sexually assault her and used to insert objects in private parts of the victim. The victim was thrashed whenever she would oppose the atrocity.
The accused is heavily addicted to liquor and would rape victim in an inebriated state.
The victim started to stay with her sister after her parents died. Her sister used to work as domestic help and in her absence accused would sexually harass and assault the victim. Frustrated over the harassment victim started to live in an institute and recently she revealed at the institute that she was sexually harassed by her brother-in-law during her stay at sister’s house.
The accused is still absconding and search has been intensified, said police. The details of the accused are yet to be found. Based on the complaint the police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started further investigation.
