Indore Adl DG Varun Kapoor on Wednesday disclosed the name and identity of the accused who was involved in rape and brutal murder of four-year-old girl child in the night of December 1.
While addressing the mediapersons, he told that police have solved the case in less than 48 hours.
The accused Ankit Vijayvergiya of Shankar Khilona Wala Ka Bagicha in front of Prahsanti hospital Mhow confessed to police that he abducted the girl who was sleeping with her parents in front of Sai temple carried her on her shoulder and took her to the abandoned building where he raped the girl child and when the girl started crying loudly he killed her by strangulating her throat and came back to his house and slept.
The next day he was watching the investigation of the police from his house. Kapoor said we will take this case as special case and put the case in fast track category for early judgment. SP West Indore Awdesh Goswami, ASP Mhow Dharmraaj Meena, SDOP Mhow Vinod Sharma, TI Mhow Abhay Nema, TI Sanwer Yogesh Tomar, T I Khudail Rupesh Dubey led the different team which apprehended the culprit.
