Even as 24 hours have passed police have failed to produce any clue behind the mysterious death of one woman and a minor found at Bisenkhedi on Saturday morning.

Police, however, have identified them as laxmi Gaur (32) and her daughter Avni Gaur (8), residents of Piplani police station area.

A police officer investigating the case informed that a missing complaint regarding the duo was lodged with the Ayodhya Nagar police on October 26, by one Rajesh Gaur, who is said to be husband and father of the deceased. He had reportedly told police that the two had gone to attend a religious function in the vicinity on October 24 and were never returned, following which he lodged a missing complaint.

Earlier, police had suspected that the two might have fallen accidentally and their bodies were washed away but other possibilities of death of the two could not be ruled out. After the preliminary investigation the bodies have been sent for the post mortem. The report is awaited, the officer said. Meanwhile, an MBA first year student of private college committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at Sharda Nagar under Gautam Nagar police station area late night on Sunday.

The deceased identified as Ritesh Vishwakarma was pursuing his MBA from Sagar College at Ayodhya Bypass. Reasons of his suicide remained unknown, told the Investigation Officer ASI P Thakur. The police have registered a case under Section 174 of the CrCP and have started further investigation.
