Habibganj police have booked a youth for sexually assaulting a 23-year-old girl near JP hospital ; accused sexually exploited the victim for the past few days. Police have booked Akash Dhakad for sexually assaulting and exploiting the victim.
A case was registered after complaint was lodged by the victim with the Habibganj police stating that the victim came into contact with the accused few months ago as accused is cousin of her friend and later after developing relationship he and sexually assaulted her on December 28 last year by threatening her of life and told to keep mum and assured her of marrying.
Later victim reached Habibganj and lodged complaint against the accused.The accused is still absconding and search has been intensified, said police. The details of the accused are yet to be found. Based on the complaint the Police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC and have started further investigation. The accused is yet to be arrested.
During the investigation police found that the accused was cousin of her friend and developed friendship and assured her that he would marry her. The victim’s sister and friend came to know about the incident and told the victim that accused was already married and when the victim came to know she lodged complaint.
After committing the heinous crime the accused assured that he would marry her and later continued to sexually exploit her. Later when the victim asked to marry the accused he refused and threatened her life if the victim informed her family and police about the incident.
