The MP Nagar police have booked two miscreants who availed car loan using forged documents; one of the accused works with car company and helped in the fraud.
The victim Bharat Gidwani is Bairagarh resident and for past few years he lives in Dubai and accused Pankaj Sabani who is Bharat's relative was aware of the fact. Pankaj used forged document and used his photograph to avail car loan.
The accused was helped by Field Officer Irshad Ali of finance company.
Police said accused worked with BGS Honda and was friend with Ali. The two colluded and availed loan.
Photograph of accused was used instead of victim to avail loan in the year 2021. Later when the EMI was not paid company came to know about the fraud.
The victim got information that car loan in his name has been taken by his relative.
A complaint was lodged by Sunil Sharma of bank. After preliminary investigation based on the complaint police registered a case under section 420 and 120 B of the IPC.
Ali was fired after fraud surfaced and he started to work with another firm.
Police have started to search for accused who are absconding.
The police suspects that the two might have financed more vehicle using forged documents and in the further investigation it could be revealed.
