Nishatpura police booked a 30-year-old man for sexually exploiting a 28-year-old woman at Brij Colony. A complaint was lodged with the police on Saturday.
The accused Rakesh alias Bunty sexually assaulted the victim for the past six months in the name of marrying her.
The victim told the police that the accused is her sister’s brother-in-law and after she came into contact with him, he developed relationship with her on the pretext of marrying her but he later refused. Victim lodged a complaint with the Nishaptura police.
The police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
