Piplani police have nabbed a 42-year-old man on the charge of killing his father by smashing his head with a stone at Shiv Nagar on Wednesday night; accused son was nabbed on Thursday.
The accused Santosh Bhilala killed his father Sewaram Bhilala by smashing his head with a stone late in the night on Wednesday.
SHO Piplani Brijesh Bhargava said that the accused is mentally ill and used to remain at home escaping work. He used to work as building painter and labour. On Wednesday he smashed his father’s had with stone and escaped the spot but he was not mentally fit he was nabbed on Thursday.
A complaint was lodged by son of deceased Ranjeet Bhilala stating that his brother Santosh has killed his father.
The accused went absconding after killing his father and was nabbed near Gandhi Market on Thursday.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case was registered. later in the investigation a case under section 302 of the IPC was registered and accused was nabbed.
The police have started to search for past crime record of the accused.
Police said that searching the accused was a tough task as the family members and neighbours were not having any details as the accused never used a mobile phone and the search was started based on the photograph provided by the family members during the investigation.
Involvement of accused in other crimes would be investigated as the details obtained in the investigation reveals that the accused behaved abnormally at times.
