Misrod police have booked a man for fraudulently selling a piece of land (plot), using forged document around 25 year ago in the year 1988; victim lodged a complaint but in the lack of evidence FIR was registered on Monday.
Police said that the victim Savitiri Malviya lodged a complaint against president of a housing development society of fraudulently selling her plot.
At the time of the incident the victim bought the property in the year 1992 from the then president of the society Rajendra Patidar. later the president changed and documents of the property of the victim disappeared under conspiracy due to which police were not able to investigate.
The victim was posted as Office Superintendent at PHQ. The police are not aware about the whereabouts of the accused and he is alive or dead is yet to be ascertained by the police.
The victim was posted as Deputy Superintendent of Police in Indore. She lodged a complaint against Swajan Housing Society.
The accused sold the plot number 175 to the victim and forged the documents to make it plot number 47 and later sold it to other buyer but when the victim came to know about the fraud she lodged a complaint with the Misrod police on February 9, 1988 but case was only registered after 25 years on Monday.
The police have registered a case under section 420,467 and 468 of the IPC and have started further investigation. Search for the accused has been started said the police.
