Ashoka Garden police have booked four persons charged with attempt to murder after they entered a violent clash, open fire and attack with sharp edged weapon at 80 ft road in the night on Sunday.
Panic prevailed at 80 ft road area after a habitual criminal Gufran along with his aside Sanjay Soni opened fire at Salman and his friend Saleem. Salman sustained injury in his leg while Saleem escaped without injury.
In counter attack Saleem attacked Sanjay with sharp edged weapons injuring his in his shoulder and abdomen. The injured were rushed to nearby hospital where their condition is reportedly stable. Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a police team rushed to the spot and started investigation.
Gurfan escaped the spot and still absconding while the three are undergoing treatment and would be arrested.
During the investigation police found that Salman who is an auto rickshaw driver was with his friend Saleem at 80 ft road when habitual criminal Gufran came to the spot along with his aide Sanjay Soni and entered into a verbal spate which soon turned violent when Gufran pulled a country made pistol and opened fire at Salman injuring him in his thigh and in return Saleem took a sharp edged weapon and attacked Sanjay.
Based on the complaint by Salman police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC against Gufran and on the complaint by Sanjay police have registered case of attempt to murder against Saleem and started further investigation.
