Kotwali police have booked three persons for fraudulently selling same house to two different persons at Ibrahimpura in the year 2016; a case was registered by police on Tuesday.
The victim Arbab Hussain of Raisen was duped by three accused by selling the same house to the victim and another city based person.
In his complaint the victim came in contact in the year 2016 with Tariq Ansari who provided details of a flat in Ibrahimpura area and along with his friend Rafeeq and builder Gufran offered him the flat which was at fourth floor.
On May 22, 2016 the victim agreed for the deal and made a payment of around Rs 5.5 lakh which was for the agreement and remaining would be paid at the time of transfer and possession. later, the victim found that the flat was sold to city based Farooq Amaan and when he contacted the three accused they refused to refund and denied of any such agreement or money received from the victim.
Based on the details during the investigation police found that the claims made by the victim were true. The police have registered a case under section 420 and 34 of the IPC and started further investigation.
