The police arrested a unit fund employee carrying a reward of Rs3,000 on his arrest. The accused Pramod Sharma was the director in Anmol Sahara. This is the sixth director of Anmol Sahara being arrested. The resident of Paras Vihar Colony in front of Jhansi road police station was a director in Anmol Sahara Chitfund Company. When the district administration strictly curbed the chit funds five years ago, Pramod Sharma absconded.
SSP Gwalior Santosh Kumar Singh was tipped off that Pramod Sharma was living in the colony in front of Jhansi road police station. Acting on the information, the police arrested him. The police are searching for Kanchan, wife of Santoshi lal Rathore director of KMJ land developer. Baghel brother’s directors of BPN chit fund company and nearly a dozen workers of chit fund companies. A separate team to search absconding chit fund workers would be constituted. The SSP Singh said that the crime branch has been given the task of arresting the workers of chit fund companies.
