Shahjehanabad police have booked a youth for sexually assaulting a 15-year-old minor at Shahjehanbad; accused sexually assaulted victim after becoming friend over social media.
Police have booked Aditya Thakur Rajput for sexually assaulting the victim on July 2020 after he arrived at house of the victim.
A case was registered after complaint was lodged by the victim with the Shahjehanabad police stating that the victim came into contact with the accused around a year over Snapchat messaging app.
On Saturday victim reached Shahjehanabad police and lodged complaint against the accused. The victim stated that on July 21, 2020 accused who became friend over social messaging app came when the victim was alone and raped her and threatened to keep mum. Afraid of the accused victim remained silent and recently accused again contacted her and asked her to develop relationship after which victim reported the incident to the parents and later complaint was lodged.
The accused is still absconding and search has been intensified, said police. The details of the accused are yet to be found. Based on the complaint the police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started further investigation.
Meanwhile, Khajuri police have booked 28-year-old youth for sexually exploiting g a 26-year-old girl for the past four years, later married and escaped.
The accused Rahul Singh came into contact with victim and took her to a hotel in Karond area in the year 2016 and later continued to sexually exploit her and in the month of June 2020 accused married victim after she pressurized her of marriage and started to live in a rented house and after few days accused left her.
