Reacting to its sensitivity, the police on Monday announced a cash reward of Rs 10,000 for anyone leading to the arrest of two criminals who were involved in the robbery case of the professor.
Announcing the cash reward, DIG Srinivasa Varma said that the decision was taken to encourage police personnel and persuade citizens for active participation in the arrest of miscreants. The money would be given by him, he said.
