The investigation of PMT scandal is coming to an end, but before that the Special Task Force (STF) and Special Investigating Team (SIT) constituted on High Court especially for the MPPEB Scam orders started exposing the DMET examination scandal which also took place on the large scale. Both the enquiry agencies had informed the government about it. After that following the oral sanction of the state government the SIT and STF began to collect evidence at their level.
During the investigation it has come to notice that the DMET scandal is bigger than PMT scandal, in which the names of big people have come to light. The SIT and STF are conducting the investigation confidentially. The private medical colleges conduct separately combine entrance test called DMET. Through DMET examination nearly 5000 to 7,000 seats are filled. The students who passed this examination get admission in private medical colleges and private dental colleges. A big network of agents is acting in committing scandal in private medical and dental colleges.
The ASP and SIT in charge Virendra Jain said that facts about the scandal on large scale in DMET examination have come to light. Permission to take action in the case has been demanded from state government. After getting the permission of state government and STF head quarters investigation would start soon.
