PM did nothing to bring back black money: Youth Cong

Published on:

The decision of demonetisation has initiated the financial anarchy in the country. The Congress party supports the Government in getting the black money back but benefitting the businessmen such as Vijay Mallya and making the poor people stand in queue depicts the outlook of the Government,” said Youth Congress State President Kunal Choudhary.

While talking to the media persons here on Saturday, Choudhary stated that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had promised that he would bring back the black money from the Swiss Banks but he has done nothing instead of making the people stand in the queues. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has always supported the businessmen. The BJP-led Central Government had benefitted the businessmen by waiving off their loans of `1 lakh 10 thousand crores while on the other hand the farmers of the country are hassled due to lack of compensations.

Choudhary said that Narendra Modi has completed two and a half years but still he has done nothing for the common man. No rich person was spotted standing in the queues after demonetisation. The farmers, common people and small businessmen are adversely affected by the demonetisation. Narendra Modi’s dogma depicts him as a follower of Hitler or Mussolini which is very dangerous for the democracy.

Choudhary told that according to the Indian constitution Prime Minister cannot take any decision without the acceptance of the cabinet. The participation of the cabinet while taking any decision is necessary for the democracy.

Narendra Modi is promoting the ‘Cashless India’ while on the other side the verified accounts of the people are being hacked on twitter. This system could only be implemented in the urban areas as a large number of people of the rural areas are still not able to sign the papers, he added.

Choudhary further stated that the thoughts of the Prime Minister are far away from the ground realities. Prime Minister had taken the decision of demonetisation in hurry which led the people suffer. The idea of cashless could not be implemented until the cyber security is tightened.

Choudhary further added that BJP Government should work for the major issues of the country such as the Kashmir issue. The ministers of BJP are doing nothing but giving statements. The Government should tell the people that what it has done on the Kashmir issue and what measures it has taken after the Pathankot terrorist attack and Uri attack.
