Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that on the auspicious occasion of Raksha-Bandhan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has bestowed huge gifts to every sister in the country along with reduction in the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 200. CM Chouhan has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Modi.
Chief Minister Chouhan tweeted that the decision by Prime Minister Modi to slash the price of domestic LPG cylinder by Rs 200 for all consumers shows the sensitivity and kindness of the leadership. This relief will be in addition to the subsidy of Rs 200 provided in March 2023 to the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana. In this way, about 10 crore 35 lakh sisters who are beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will get gas cylinders at Rs700. Simultaneously, approval has also been given to provide 75 lakh new LPG connections to sisters under the Ujjwala Yojana.
