The play ‘Tamsa Tat’ was staged in Mach style on Sunday under the Gamak series at Ravindra Bhavan today.

On behalf of Kalidas Academy Ujjain, this presentation was performed by Rang Parv Sanstha.

The play was directed by Rajendra Chavda, senior playwright of Ujjain. The play was written by Shiv Kumar Chavare, was based on Uttar Ramcharit.

The story of Tamsa tat surrounds the coronation in which Rama's conflict is visible on the one hand, and on the other side, in the ashram of Maharishi Valmiki, Sita is rearing her sons Luv and Kush while battling with their isolation. The sons are worried about the skilled mother.

In the story, the meeting of father-sons through Ashwamedha Yajna and the horse left for him, is an important context for the education provided by Maharishi Valmiki to Lav and Kush.

It also contains contexts relevant to Ram's Kaushalya, to dialogue and dream situations.

The performance was appreciated by a large number of audience present with the primacy of dance, song and music style. The roles of Utkarsh Kadotiya Ram, Garima Rahi Sita, Laxman Yuvraj Chavda, Raja Ram Singh Tomar Vasistha, Pawan Love, Ashwin Kush were appreciated.  The music was excellent.
