On the first day of Sabrang Theatre Festival ‘Prem Politics’ was performed on Friday. The play ‘Prem Politics’ is designed to talk about today's world with the help of mythological background. Notably, the replay is written and directed by Prasanna Soni.

At the core of the play, the love story of Mahanad Son and Narmada River is mentioned. And as a symbol, Sonu and Reva's love story runs parallel.

The writer has woven a very dramatic warp linking the two stories in a beautiful and precise way.

In the drama, there are scenes of Son and Narmada in Devlok, while the story reaches the audience from the perspective of TV media in Prithvi Lok. The play also raises the subject of Honor Killing with seriousness, while at the same time also taking a sarcasm at the changing nature of the media.

The play describes a fine balance between love and violent love increasing day by day.  A young boy fell in love and politics turns his feeling into violence. Politicians fear that if the youth will love, they will fill the world with love. Then this world will be worth living, and the politics of hate will not find a place to thrive. This drama touches many social aspects at once.

The actors performed the drama with great skill mesmerising the audience. Recording songs of the play were also played and pictures of play were presented adding zest in the narration.
