PK Bajpai, Director (Finance), BHEl on Saturday visited various manufacturing blocks of BHEl, Bhopal, and held discussion with officials of the concerned blocks on the current ongoing production process. Bajpai also inaugurated the Cast Fabrication runner manufacturing block along with the adjoining annexes’ of the block.
On the occasion Shashi Ranjan Prasad, executive director, all general managers and senior officials were present. Bajpai, in his address, said that the necessity of these blocks was felt for a long time. The block will help in manufacturing of quality Cast Fabricated Runner simultaneously bringing down the manufacturing cost. later, he also visited the recently built new Hydro lab and said that the facilities available here were of international standard. In line with this Bajpai also inaugurated the HMT slant bed lathe machine at Hydro lab which will help in enhancing the capacity of the lab.
later, Bajpai held discussion with all general managers, DROs and commercial heads on the financial condition of the company and added that at present it was very important to look at all those areas through which cash could be brought in for the company.
“We should try to do all task efficiently so that no work gets stuck for our inefficiency. At the same time the quality of the product should also be kept in mind and make sure about customer satisfaction thereby collecting cash for the job done,” he said.
