The students of the Department of Mass Communication of Prestige Institute of Management and Research celebrated the festival of Raksha Bandhan with differently abled children at Anubhuti Vision Seva Sansthan. The students sang songs of their choice to make the event special and to entertain the children. Along with this, the college girls celebrated the festival of Rakshabandhan by tying rakhi to the children and orphanage girls.
The children of the orphanage also presented songs in their melodious voices. After the event, the institute students said that it was a special experience to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with these children as these children also understand the importance of relationships and it was heartening to see the happiness on their faces.
Under the leadership of Assistant Professor Srishti Dixit from the college, the students of Mass Communication Department as well as students from BBA presented songs based on brother sister relationship. PIMR UG Director, Col S. Raman Iyer lauded students' initiative of celebrating Raksha Bandhan with differently abled children.
