Physics becomes fun for students at science workshop

Published on:

On the second day of the Creative Science Workshop organised at the Regional Science Centre, children explored new facts about Physics. All through the session, the students had fun with science.

Notably, through fun learning activities, the students are exploring the unknown and unique facts about science not only attending lectures, but also practically.

The second day on Tuesday the session began with a science demonstration lecture on ‘Physics is Fun’.

During these demonstrations 15 science experiments on various topics in Physics were shown to the participants that include sound, light, electricity, magnetism etc. In the after lunch session the students fabricated a kit on theme ‘Electromagnet’. In this kit, the students wrapped a copper wire around an iron bolt. When electricity is passed through the wire, it becomes a magnet and attracts other iron pieces and on removal of the source of electricity, the bolt loses magnetism.

The Creative Science Workshop has as many as 23 participants from various schools of Bhopal.

Notably, the students from classes seventh to ninth have participated in the Creative Science Workshop which would continue till May 9.

The participants would be acquainted with different facts of science and related topics.

To make these activities more interesting and fun, experts from the Regional Science Centre would arrange new activities which the

participants would be doing to learn something new

 out of it.

Moreover, after the creative science workshop different summer workshops would be organised for different batches as well.
