Pending payment delays carpet park construction

The scheme of carpet park made for carpet workers of this region is pending as the second installment has not been released yet. The MP Handicaft and Handloom Development Corporation has not made any plan for this park so far. That is why the second installment of Rs6 crore would not be given to the department.

A meeting of officers in Bhopal decided that it would prepare a map and decide the time limit for work and only after that second installment would be released. The map would be prepared by PWD. The department had prepared a scheme in 2011 for making Carpet Park in 2011 in an area of 2.5 hectares near Mallagraha CNG pump.
