Pearson Schools' I-Day cultural fest concludes

Pearson Schools, today announced the successful culmination of their inter-school Independence Day cultural fest – ‘TIRANGAA 2013’.  The fest was held at Asnani School, Katara Hills here on Friday.

The theme this year was ‘Indian Railways – One India’ and was held across all 35 Pearson Schools in the country. Notably, ‘TIRANGAA’ was conceptualised by Pearson Schools after extensive brain mapping to enable the company to meet the growing demands of tapping the hidden talent in each child. The platform allows the children to exhibit the best of their talent in Art in their respective age groups.

Basically, there are four schools of Pearson group in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Including Bhopal, Indore, Shajapur and Raipur, one school at Ratlam is under construction and would be opened soon. All the festive Independence Day decorations across all Pearson Schools campuses added fun, charm and fervour to the atmosphere. Encompassing several unique competitions such as Colouring competition, Fancy Dress competition, Recitation, story-telling and much more, TIRANGAA was a refreshing take on celebrating India’s 67th year of independence.

“We are pleased with the exceptional response to TIRANGAA across all our schools. The participation from schools across the country was truly heartening. This concept is in its third year running, and we firmly believe that it helps reiterate our philosophy of unearthing talent in children that would otherwise go unnoticed, in the rush of academics and book study.” said Srikanth Iyer, CEO, Pearson Education Services, India.
