While the government is making all efforts to introduce mother tongue in all branches of learning, State Congress President and former Chief Minister has cast his apprehension on the success of the scheme of learning MBBS in Hindi.
He said that Hindi is our mother tongue, we all respect this and there is no opposition to studying in Hindi, but why is there no talk about the bad condition of health facilities. Efforts are being made to divert attention in the name of Hindi. There is a shortage of doctors in hospitals. Health centers in rural areas are running with the help of compounders and nurses. State Congress President Kamal Nath said this.
In a statement issued, he said that people from rural areas have to go to private hospitals in urban areas for treatment. The government is not paying attention to health facilities, so doctors are going to other states and providing services.
Books have been prepared to teach medical education in Hindi, but it is not being told why the engineering studies in Hindi which was started in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University in the year 2016 was stopped.
Instead of seeking accolades, the government should make arrangements to deal with the challenges. The people of the state cannot be misled by organising such events. Hundreds of cows have died from the lumpy virus, accidents are happening on the roads.
