The opposition to Raja Pateria's candidature from Khajuraho lok Sabha seat continues, as Congress legislator from Vijayraghogarh constituency in Katni district Sanjay Pathak has given ultimatum to the party high command.
Pathak had a closed-door meeting with AICC secretary and in-charge of Madhya Pradesh affairs Rakesh Kalia at State Congress headquarters on Tuesday.
later, talking to mediapersons, Pathak told that he had a detailed talk with Kalia and he would disclose his future course of action on Wednesday after 3 pm. If the candidate in Khajuraho is not changed, he would certainly take a tough stand.
Pathak has been protesting against Raja Pateria's candidature from Khajuraho parliamentary constituency. There had been talks that he might quit the party and join BJP fold. He was reportedly in touch with the Chief Minister and other senior BJP leaders for past few weeks.
