State Congress spokesman Pramod Gugalia informed that due to the demise of veteran party leader Vidya Charan Shukla the Parivartan Yatra of the party for June 12 in Vidisha district’s lateri, Kurwai and Shamshabad has been deferred. The next programme of the Yatra for this district would be announced soon.
Shock waves spread in the state Congress office as soon as the news of demise of former union minister Vidyacharan Shukla reached there. The State Congress office was closed as mourning after the news reached here.
