Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh president and MP Nandkumar Singh Chouhan has alleged that only those people are opposing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Pakistan visit who were till now leveling allegations of intolerance against Modi.
Chouhan in a statement here on Monday said, “PM Modi’s Pakistan visit is looked as new direction for peace and friendship by world community and is being lauded by the world over at the same time this visit is opposed only by those who were till now leveling charges of intolerance against Modi. In fact, Congress is not been able to digest PM Modi’s tolerance and nobleness towards the neighboring country.”
Chouhan further said that Manish Tiwari and Mani Shankar Aiyar are senior leaders of a nationalist political party and it is expected from them that they would not praise the diplomacy skills of the PM but in comprehensive national interest they should refrain from dissolving incivility between the friendly relations of two nations.
He said that PM Modi during his visit to the neighboring country told his Pakistani counterpart informally that getting around should continue. PM Modi through his Pakistan visit has certainly given a new direction of positive spirit in Asia. This would certainly be a success, he added.
The senior BJP leader said that PM Modi has successfully given this message to the world community that India is very serious in the direction of friendship and peace but it would be called Congress party’s issue bankruptcy and shortsightedness that it is not able to look at the positive creative initiative and what could be more evident of Congress’ intolerance.
