The artists aspiring to learn different forms of paintings have an opportunity to learn the ages old tribal art. A painting workshop is being organized in city for the artists where the students would discover the colourful world of tribal art.
Artists Pragati Patel is teaching different arts like Warli, Madhubani to the students. The workshop is open for aspiring artists till 45 years. It is to be noted that these paintings are basically based on the Vastu and traditions of its area. Warli form of art focuses on the rituals and happiness of people.
It shows the human activities from dawn till dusk. Warlis extremely rudimentary wall paintings use a very basic graphic vocabulary like a circle, a triangle and a square.
