The close look at stars, moon, planets and beauty of the sky is like a heavenly treat for the art lovers of the city. A solo painting exhibition is being put up by an eminent artist Firdous of the city at Swaraj Vithika (Swaraj Art Gallery), Ravindra Bhavan Premises. The exhibition was inaugurated on Thursday which will be on view till May 4. While talking to The Pioneer, Firdous said, “It is often seen that painters work on a particular pattern, but I wanted to do something different so, I have explained my views through different way.” Elaborating further, she said, “My brush moves on the canvas according to my wish and perceptions and so I does not allow his artistic view to follow a single track.”
The crowd visited to watch the creations were spell-bounded with her attractive art work. They were able to reveal various moods of Universe in abstract form at the gallery through the remarkable paintings. Her creations are highly appreciated by the viewers as they walk-through the gallery. Moreover, the paintings that are presented before the visitors maintain the pristine beauty of form and colour that is to be identified and named according to visitor’s perceptions.
Art has no boundaries and perception of an artist grows as he works upon it. “I have been working on this concept since 2006 and now till 2013 I have completed my work,” Firdous said.
Firdous has beautifully illustrated the version of abstract art not only with the use or geometrical figures but, by giving the finishing touch with vibrant colours in 31 paintings. The highly versatile and aesthetic perception of the creations of the artist has enabled the viewers to touch most profound depths of the concept Firdous has worked upon. The purity of style, uniqueness of imagination with brilliant technique made the creations enchanting.
“I have used my techniques to give the paintings a different texture and form,” Firdous added.
As the spectators entered the gallery they were surrounded by magical world over canvas.
