The Feast day of ‘Our lady of Carmel’ was celebrated with great devotion and fervour and in a very special and Spiritual Way by the School management, staff and students of the Primary section in the Primary Quadrangle of the Campion School, Arera Colony Bhopal.
Special prayers will mark the celebrations of the feast of Mt Carmel. The event was presided over by the Principal Fr Athnas lakra SJ and Sr Naurine.
The programme commenced solemnly by grand welcoming the Chief Guest of the occasion Sr Naurine, Fathers, Sisters and Brothers to the “Primary Quadrangle” by the students. On this auspicious occasion Anchoring was done by Nita Paul madam. The Programme started by seeking almighty’s blessings through a prayer service by Prabha Mathew Madam. The programme included prayer service, a prayer dance and a skit showing the importance of the day. General Assembly was conducted by Choir boys. The junior section had the cultural programme presented by primary students.
The programme began by invoking God’s blessings through a Prayer Dance. They highlighted the importance of Carmel Feast through a meaningful skit and dance. This was followed by a Greeting song presented by Mr. Gerry Sir. Significance of the day was presented by Sr. Chitra. A Cultural Prayer service Dance and song based on World peace and God Grace is presented.
This was followed by a Celebration dance and variety entertainment programme staged by the students of the schools. Merriment was added to the programme by a melodious wishing song and a foot-tapping, lively celebration dance. Apart from special prayers, lots of other colourful cultural programmes organized at Campion School to mark this day.
