Orientation meet held for pharmacy students at PGI

An orientation programme for the BA (Pharmacy) students was held here on Friday at Patel Group of Institutions, Ratibadh.The students of the college along with the faculty members were present during the orientation programme. During the programme AK Pathak, Head of Department Barkatullah University, Bhopal was present as the chief guest. Further, CJ Verma Director (Pharmacy) and Director of Patel Group of Institutions welcomed the chief guests at the programme.

The programme began in a traditional manner by lighting the lamp which was then followed with the welcome address by CJ Verma, Director of Department of Pharmacy. A brief introduction along with a presentation about Patel Group of Institutions was given by Professor Verma. He then overviewed the later progresses made by the students and the institution.

Notably, the students of current batch were welcomed through the orientation programme. The Principal of pharmacy department Hemant Sharma welcomed all the students in orientation programme and gave information about the diploma courses.Professor Hemant Sharma while addressing the students wished them luck for the future and advised them to work hard and become good engineers.

Further, the orientation programme was organised to inform the students of new batch about the institute and for this a programme was held on the day of orientation. Further, an introduction session of the new students was held on the day of the orientation programme. Moreover, the students were made aware about the various academic programme that they will be studying during the session.
