An FIR should be registered against Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Gaurishankar Bisen and Gadarwara BJP MlA Govind Patel for inciting farmers and making the protest violent, said leader of Opposition in the state assembly Ajay Singh on Wednesday.
The farmers are agitated over provocative statements by ministers and MlA of BJP are encouraging the farmers to go violent, he added.
In a statement, Singh said that Chief Minister claims to be well wisher of farmers but his ministers are claiming that what could be done if farmers are committing suicide and they also said that the farmers should work hard and repay the loan and depressed over this statement of Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Gaurishankar Bisen 50-year-old farmer Ramesh Bisen committed suicide in Balaghat which is fourth suicide in the past 3-4 days.
He said that it is the responsibility of the government to make farmer prosperous but BJP ruled government and its ministers are delivering statements which are making the farmers frustrated and depressed.
The grievance of the farmers of the state was experienced by the Chief Minister during his visit to families of farmers killed in Mandsaur who asked to return lives of their loved ones and where not willing to accept compensation of Rs 1 crore.
Singh alleged that the all the statements of Bisen are delivered on cues of CM and the farmers have been marooned as they are left by central and state government which are ruled by BJP.
The defamatory statement made by Gadarwara BJP MlA Govind Patel for farmers that farmer could be bought with two beetle leaves lead to the protest of around 2000 farmers. If Chief Minister really wants to make peace in the state F.I.R should be registered against his minister and MlA.
