The Directorate of Public Education will conduct an open book exam of subject teachers with 0 to 30 percent exam results on June 12. Performance data of subject wise teachers has been collected based on the results of last 3 years. Schools and teachers having minimum examination results have been selected on the basis of data.
The purpose of the examination is to assess the teaching capacity of the teachers and to make a work plan of training after understanding the problems being faces by them during teaching. On this basis, the efficiency of teachers will be enhanced so that the students can get qualitative education.
Teachers carry out teaching work from books. This is why the Open Book Exam is being conducted. The examination is being conducted to test the teachers' knowledge of his subject. This is not a memory based test.
