Private schools’ new recognition and renewal would be done online in current session in the State. The State Government has issued directives in this regard to all divisional commissioners, collectors and District Education Officers.
The Government has published rules regarding recognition in State gazette. The rules contain complete process for application and directives for new recognition and renewal. This facility has been provided to applicants through MP Online. Districts have been asked to make everyone aware of online system. Only online applications will be accepted for recognition.
Directives have been given to prepare list of documents to be attached with applications for recognition. Applications will be rejected if proper documents are not attached. While uploading photograph of school building, it should be ensured that GPS data details appear in it. Full form should be filled up for new recognition. In case of renewal, concerning school should obtain its login from divisional office of Board of Secondary Education. Fee and portal fee should be deposited after complete entry. Clusters will submit entire information about applicant school with their remarks through login. After school gives information, its application will be displayed on the login of DEO.
DEOs should forward cases of recognition for necessary action by verifying applications with their remarks. DEOs have been empowered to accept or reject application. If DEOs feel that any document is not proper, they can send the application back to concerning school. Full powers have also been delegated to DEOs for renewal of recognition. When DEO forwards applications for new recognition, their status will appear on collector’s login. Collectors will take final decision on applications for new recognition. In case any document is not proper, collector will direct applicant school to re-upload or present it. Collectors have been empowered to cancel recognition of any school midway through the session if school is not found in accordance with norms.
